Open for 26/27 Season

Terms & Conditions

These terms explain how Podium Partner operates, what sponsors and businesses can expect, and the commitments athletes make. By creating an account, enquiring, or entering a sponsorship through the platform, you agree to these terms.

1. Who we are

Podium Partner connects Australian athletes with Australian businesses for season-long sponsorship arrangements, and manages the matching, partnership commitments, contracting and payment process.

If you have any questions about these terms, contact us at hello@podiumpartner.com.au.

2. Sponsor payments

Sponsors pay the agreed season fee to Podium Partner at commencement. Podium Partner hold the payment and make payout instalments to Athletes at commencement and final milestone.

Sponsors who do not meet payment deadlines may have their athlete placements paused and future access to the platform suspended.

3. Athlete payments

Athletes receive 50% of the sponsorship funds upon commencement (within 14 days) and the remaining 50% upon completion of the agreement.

Athletes will not be paid the outstanding balance if their agreed commitments — such as brand content posts — are not upheld or cannot be evidenced. Podium Partner may withhold payment of the completion instalment where deliverables remain outstanding.

4. Athlete commitments

Athletes agree to complete the commitments in their sponsorship agreement in good faith, to a professional standard, and within the agreed timeframes. This includes representing the sponsoring business respectfully on and off the track.

5. No soliciting without permission

Businesses and sponsors must not approach, contact or contract Podium Partner athletes privately or directly outside the platform without express written permission from Podium Partner. This includes hiring athletes for activations, content or endorsements discovered through the platform.

Approaches made without permission breach these terms and may result in removal from the platform and recovery of any fees owed.

6. Sponsor conduct

Sponsors must treat athletes respectfully, must not require commitments outside the signed agreement, and must not ask athletes to promote anything unlawful, explicit or that conflicts with the athlete's values.

7. Athlete conduct

Athletes must not make misleading claims about sponsors, must disclose sponsor relationships when posting about them, and must not bring Podium Partner or a sponsor into disrepute. Serious misconduct may end a sponsorship agreement early, with payment handled under section 3.

8. Content and photos

Athletes grant Podium Partner and their sponsors a licence to use profile photos, videos and content for the sponsorship and related promotion, for the duration of the agreement and for 3 years thereafter.

9. Refunds and changes

Sponsorship fees are non-refundable once a placement commences, except where Podium Partner cannot fulfil the placement. Mid-season changes to an agreement must be agreed by the athlete, sponsor and Podium Partner.

10. Minors

Athletes under 18 require parent or guardian consent, and payments are made to the consenting adult's nominated account.

11. Liability

Podium Partner facilitates sponsorships and is not liable for the performance of either party beyond managing payments and agreed deliverables. Nothing in these terms excludes rights under Australian Consumer Law.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the latest version is always on this page. Terms last updated September 2026.
