Podium Partner connects Australian athletes with Australian businesses for season-long sponsorship arrangements. This policy explains how we handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

From athletes: name, contact details, date of birth, club or team, sport and event information, competition results, photos and videos, social media handles, sponsorship preferences, and banking or payout details where relevant.

From businesses and sponsors: contact details, business name, enquiry details, and information about your sponsorship preferences and budget.

From website visitors: basic usage information such as pages visited, and the details you provide in enquiry forms.

To operate the Podium Partner platform, including building athlete profiles, matching athletes with sponsors, and processing sponsorships and payouts.

To communicate with you about your enquiries, your account, and your sponsorship arrangements.

To promote the athlete roster and sponsorship opportunities, using the profile content athletes have chosen to publish.

Approved sponsors, who can view the profile information athletes choose to make available on their roster listings.

Service providers who help us run the platform, such as hosting, email delivery, and payment providers, who only receive the information they need.

We do not sell personal information to third parties.

Photos and videos athletes upload are used for their profile on the platform and in sponsor-facing materials. Content may also be used to promote Podium Partner and its sponsors in line with the athlete's sponsorship agreement.

Athletes can request the removal of profile photos at any time by contacting us.

Personal information is stored on secure servers and access is limited to the Podium Partner team and, for athletes, to the athletes themselves. We take reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access.

Some athletes on the platform may be under 18. We require the consent of a parent or guardian before collecting personal information from anyone under 18, and we encourage younger athletes to be supported by a parent or guardian throughout their sponsorship.

You can view and update most of your information by signing in to your account. You can also ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@podiumpartner.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable time.

We use cookies and similar tools to keep the platform running, remember your sign-in, and understand how the website is used so we can improve it. You can disable cookies in your browser, though some parts of the platform may not work correctly.
